Gateway into Life is a Christian Charity that aims to break the homelessness cycle for vulnerable people including ex-offenders

Providing accommodation at an affordable cost for vulnerable adults including ex-offenders, people with addiction problems and others who are homeless
Assisting tenants into work, education or training, encouraging them back into society
Sharing how to have a living relationship with Jesus
The work of the charity relies on a group of people who have committed themselves to support Gateway into Life through financial gifts and prayer. Many choose to give a small monthly donation and these gifts underpin our work. Supporters receive regular updates on the charity. We are always looking for new people to support this vital work
To be able to provide supported accommodation the charity relies on a dedicated team of people. This includes those who work behind the scenes as well as those who undertake face to face support with our tenants.
We also have strong links with other agencies that work with our client group
Hope into Action Northumberland (HiAN) encourages those who are able to invest in a house. A house can be owned by one person or by a group of people through a trust. Investors receive a return of 2% on their investment. The house is leased to HiAN and it is the charity that manages the house and tenants. For more information please contact the charity
